Work at heights safety and scaffolding installation
Practical application of layher guidelines
The scaffolding training is based on the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the regulations “Health and Safety Requirements for the Use of Work Equipment“, “Health and Safety Requirements in Construction“, “Procedure for Selecting and Using Personal Protective Equipment“.
The training is based on Layher instructions and consists of a theoretical part and practical exercises in scaffolding assembly and disassembly.
The goal of the scaffolding training and the topics covered:
As a result of the training, the participant will know the classification and details of scaffolding and will be able to safely assemble and disassemble scaffolding, selecting the necessary tools for the task.
Topics:
- Safety factors in the work environment and at height
- Legislation governing the use of work equipment and high work
- Safety measures for scaffolding assembly, disassembly, and working on scaffolds
- Selection and use of fall protection equipment
- Scaffolding inspection
Practical exercises include preparing the base for scaffolding, identifying scaffolding parts, scaffolding assembly and disassembly, inspection and analysis of installed scaffolding, and stacking parts on the base.
The training program will be tailored to the specific requirements of the client.
The training can be conducted at our training facilities in Tallinn or Tartu, or at your company's premises anywhere in Estonia.
For the practical part, we use Layher scaffolding components or components available at the client's site. We provide the necessary fall protection equipment, allowing participants to try different types of gear.
The training can be conducted in Estonian or Russian.
